Since you’re in the midst of making Aliya, a pertinent topic might be TIDE applied to modern day Israel vs chu"l.
Another podcast could be about striking a healthy balance of Torah and DE.
Another topic could be “What does a community that espouses TIDE comprise of”?
I have a friend who can help witn podcast creation. Lmk if you want me to make a intro on WhatsApp
That would be wonderful. As I asked @Jeremy.Schwarzbaum to undertake the role of organizing a podcast, I am taking the liberty of asking you to help make that introduction. Thanks!
Exploring the topic of ikar shechina b’tachtonim - comparing/contrasting with other hashkafos, practical ramifications as expressed in different elements of TIDE
Exploring the broader topic of taamei hamitzvos from torah/chazal through rav hirsch, and what rav hirsch’s unique contributions were to the topic (as well as where things stand now - my feeling is Rav Soloveitchik contributed towards a similar project, which was then picked up by rabbanim like Rav Michael Rosensweig of RIETS as well as a couple of rabbanim in EY)
guests who can highlight fruitful examples of synthesizing torah with derech eretz/secular studies. Either through their background in secular studies lending a unique benefit to their torah (one example that comes to mind is rav itamar rosensweig, R’ Michael’s son, who has a strong background in secular legal theory and dayanus, which gives him a unique lens in teaching choshen mishpat/hilchos nezikin; many frum psychologists/therapists could do this as well), or people whose careers are dedicated towards avodas Hashem in a broader sense (such as a friend who became a realtor in EY to help people make aliya).
