Chapter 3 (essay) in Judaism’s Encounter with Other Cultures” by Rabbi Dr. Shnayer Leiman, “Rabbinic Openness to General Culture in the Early Modern Period in Western and Central Europe”– excellent, full of quotations–on RSRH and Rav Ezriel Hildesheimer. (Entire book is well worth the read, as well.)
Leo/Yehuda Levi, author of Torah Study and Jewish Chronometry, writes these and many other seforim that are thoroughly imbued with TiDE.

A Unique Perspective– a (not exhaustive) compilation of Rav Dr. Joseph Breuer’s essays (many first included in A Time to Build [3 vol]), with a section entirely devoted to TIDE and the Hirschian derech.
My initial introduction came through 1) Torah Im Derech Eretz - Differin 2) This shiur of Rabbi Bechhofer’s with sources here 3) Some of the R’Danzinger articles posted on R’Mayer Schiller’s site and his own essay on Hirschian Humanism.

I should also add Rabbi Bechhofer’s writings in Jewish Action. Technically, the first sefer I ever read was The Nineteen Letters, but I don’t think I truly understood much of what I was reading at the time. Later I gained much from reading selections from R’Hirsch, R’Breuer, Leo Levi and R’Schwab’s Eilu veEilu pamphlet.
